Catherine María Moore

Born and raised in South Carolina, Catherine is now based in southwest Idaho with her family. Catherine has studied acting at Boise Contemporary Theater and Boise Acting Studio, but more consistently studies under LA's Shaan Sharma at The Storyteller's Conservatory. Catherine has been cast in local commercials and indie productions. While her love for acting began as a child and was pursued through adolescence on stage, she now aspires to continue film acting in thought-provoking films that stir wonder, evoke strong emotions, unveil truths, and add beauty to the world. Her natural knack for comedy also excites her horizon. After graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting, Catherine started working in corporate accounting. When Catherine became a homeschooling mom, she also volunteered in various teaching and nonprofit bookkeeping roles for about 12 years. In 2024, Catherine ventured out, again, onto the beloved stage when she performed as the comedic housekeeper, Mrs. Brill, in the musical "Mary Poppins." When Catherine is not acting or spending time with family, she is a part-time nonprofit bookkeeper for Glocal Community Partners, a nonprofit that serves refugees in Boise, ID.
