At 48, Abby Geotz has reached that sweet spot in life where she knows exactly who she is—and has enough life experience to have some really good stories. Originally from small-town Minnesota and now living in Mesa, Arizona, Abby traded snowbanks and small-town life for sunshine, desert adventures, and an entirely new chapter in the Southwest. She’s a wife, mom, adoptive parent, dog mom, community professional, and lifelong people-person who can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. She also spent 15 years as a karaoke DJ, which means she’s seen people at their absolute best, their hilariously worst, and everything in between. Give her a microphone, a room full of strangers, or an unexpected situation and she’s completely in her element. Abby has raised a family, built a career around people and community, changed directions more than once, and packed up her life to move across the country in her late 40s. She’s proof that getting older doesn't mean getting boring—sometimes it means finally being confident enough to say yes to the things you would have talked yourself out of 20 years ago.
