Anina Gaither

My name is Anina Gaither, and I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I’ve always had a love for the outdoors, traveling, and experiencing new places and perspectives. Right out of high school, I joined the U.S. Air Force, where I spent 12 years working as a medic and healthcare leader. My military and healthcare experiences shaped me into a highly adaptable, flexible, and resilient person. They also gave me the opportunity to lead, serve, and connect with people from many different backgrounds. As a Black woman and leader in the military, I experienced life from many different perspectives. Those experiences challenged me, broadened my worldview, and helped me become the well-rounded person I am today. I don’t see life as simply black or white—I’m comfortable living in the gray, embracing different perspectives and understanding that there is often more than one way to see things. Today, I work remotely as a Senior Project Manager. I have three degrees—a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSP), a Master of Health Administration (MHA), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Because I work remotely and have a flexible lifestyle, I’m open to traveling for opportunities - travel expenses/lodging being provided is a bonus! The five words my loved ones would use to describe me are: resilient, dependable, direct, caring, and loyal. I’ve always wanted to explore modeling, particularly lifestyle, outdoor, and natural-connection shoots. I’m also interested in acting opportunities. During my time as a military medic, I participated in medical training scenarios for healthcare professionals and was frequently asked to play the patient. I was known for staying committed to the character and could portray a wide range of personalities and scenarios. That experience sparked an interest in acting and showed me that stepping into different characters comes naturally to me. I’m excited to explore opportunities that allow me to combine my personality, life experiences, versatility, and love for storytelling—whether that’s through modeling, acting, lifestyle content, or outdoor projects.
