Bonnie J Elder

I am a retired teacher and a Speech & Debate coach, so acting has actually been part of my career for years. I spent my days in front of 120 students a day, using energy, storytelling, persuasion, and a little theatrical flair to convince them that they really did want to learn what I had to offer. I'm also a competitive amateur ballroom dancer, which has given me a love of performance, movement, discipline, and connecting with an audience. And as a former farm wife, I bring a few practical skills to the table, too: I can rake hay, start a tractor with a screwdriver when the starter goes out, and back up a four-horse trailer full of 4-H and FFA animals. In other words, I’m comfortable both on the dance floor and in the hay field. I’m not afraid of a little hard work or a challenging role. Now I'm excited to bring that experience to the stage and screen, where I can put those same skills to work in a whole new way.
