Cassie Nolan

I grew up in the typical small southern town in Alabama. I was extremely blessed to have the most incredible parents ever. Although we didn’t travel or go many places to get the culture like many of my wealthy friends. I feel my parents felt it was extremely important for their children to be well rounded individuals and in order to do that we needed to know a little about many different things. My father was an artist and art instructor, so the arts have always played a big part in my life. I performed in many of the community musicals over the years. There were years where I had big parts and years where I was just in the background singing and dancing. No matter the part, I always enjoyed the entire process of watching the show come together. As I got older, I found myself going after positions that stood out and somehow put me in a leadership position. In middle school, I was the drum major of our marching band. Highschool, I was on color guard/dance team for a year and cheered for two years. As an adult, I chose a profession- to be honest with you- all day, everyday all you do is act… that profession is called education. So I might not have experience on the stage or behind the screen but believe me… I’ve been acting and trying my best to sell the love and passion I have for learning and for the kids I teach for the past 23 years and it’s worked.
