Chris Gonzalez

Started in college as a professional singer at the Hilton and Sheraton, hotels in San Juan as well as musical comedy and theater to include West Side Story, Show Boat, Best Foot Forward, Oklahoma and South Pacific an “Ah Wilderness “ as the spoiled teen.. Survived the Viet Nam war with PTSD as a Captain and while in the service won best act ( a Pantomime as I trained for 2 weeks with Marcelle Marceau while with the San Juan ballet company). With the company, I danced as Alain, “village idiot “ in La Fille mal gardee.” Attained the rank of Major, US Army Special Forces(Geen Beret) but had to SUE the Army (blatant racism and discrimination (Latino) and wrote a book about it (GONZALEZ vs U. S. ARMY on Amazon) won the suit (they settled- didn’t want the negative press on bias towards minorities) Currently Retired from second career (education) after getting two Masters (KU and Pepperdine) and a Doctorate in Education from USF and was teacher of the year in Oakland and ended as a High school and Elementary School Principal) and substitute in the Sacramento area.
