Augusta Shaw

My name is **Augusta Shaw**, and acting has been a dream of mine since I was 15 years old. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to bring several characters to life on stage, including Bernard in *Boeing Boeing*, Robert in *The Play That Goes Wrong*, Glenn in *Rumors*, and Hoke in *Driving Miss Daisy*. I received professional training through the John Casablancas Center, where I studied monologue techniques, commercial acting, cold readings, improvisation, voice-over, teleprompter work, and spokesperson techniques. I also received modeling training in photo posing, posing with props, runway techniques, runway doubles, and runway choreography. Before pursuing acting, I served as a police officer for eight years, an experience that taught me discipline, professionalism, confidence, and how to perform under pressure. I also have computer technology skills and a background in sports, including football and basketball. Outside of acting, I enjoy fishing and hunting. I love learning new things and challenging myself. When I’m faced with a challenge, I don’t back away from it—I meet it head-on. Acting has been a dream of mine for many years, and I’m committed to continuing to grow as an actor, take on new roles, and give everything I have to every opportunity that comes my way.
