Growing up in foster care and eventually being adopted, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out where I belonged. Movies became my home. They allowed me to escape the world for a little while, connect with different characters, and imagine possibilities beyond what already I knew. But I’m not that little girl anymore. I don’t want to keep hiding from the world behind a screen. I want to step in front of one. I want to challenge myself, share my story in my own way, and become part of something that makes other people feel seen, understood, and less alone. For me, film is more than acting. It’s an opportunity to turn something that once helped me survive into something that allows me to grow. I want the world to see me as strong and fearless!
