I believe the most compelling characters are not simply acted—they are lived. For more than 30 years, I have lived a life centered around service, resilience, family, and purpose. I have dedicated my career to working with children and families in both public and private school systems. I began as an elementary educator, a role that taught me how to listen, lead, connect, and understand the many different stories people carry with them. My journey eventually brought me back to college, because I wanted to grow beyond what I already knew. Three years ago, I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from UCLA, along with my California Administrative Credential. Today, I serve as a Community School Coordinator, creating partnerships and opportunities that uplift students, families, teachers, and entire communities. But my greatest roles in life have never come with a title. I am a single mother who raised two children who are now proud college graduates—one a Food Scientist from UC Davis and the other a Chemistry major from UC Riverside. And now, I have the privilege of playing one of my favorite roles of all: grandmother to a beautiful four-year-old boy. My life has taught me how to be strong when no one is watching, how to keep moving forward when things are difficult, and how to find joy in the middle of responsibility. I know what it means to sacrifice for the people you love. I know what it means to start over, reinvent yourself, and still believe that there is more life waiting for you. And there is. Outside of my professional life, I am adventurous and energetic. I hike. I backpack. I play tennis. I kickbox. I read. I love being outdoors and challenging myself physically and mentally. I recently completed an unforgettable 50-mile, four-day adventure on the Inca Trail in Peru—camping in the mountains and ultimately arriving at Machu Picchu. That experience reminded me that some of the greatest stories begin when we are willing to step outside of our comfort zone. That is exactly what I am ready to do now. I am asking for an opportunity to be seen—not simply as an educator, a mother, or a grandmother, but as a woman with decades of experiences, emotions, relationships, challenges, triumphs, and stories that could translate beautifully to the screen. I believe I can bring something to a role that cannot be taught in an acting class: “life experience.” I can bring warmth to a mother, strength to a woman overcoming adversity, authority to a professional, humor to a grandmother, vulnerability to a difficult moment, and authenticity to characters who have walked through real life. Give me a scene, and I will bring the life behind it. Give me a chance, and I will bring everything I have lived into the role. At this point in my life, I am not looking for someone to simply give me a spotlight. I am looking for someone willing to see what might happen if they put a woman with 30 years of life experience, resilience, passion, and heart in front of a camera. I am ready for that moment. And I would be honored to show you what I can do with it.
