Hi I'm Victoria! Full of Vim and Vitality. I have a lovely Jamaican accent and 19 years experience as a healthcare professional. I'm excited to venture into the acting or media industry because this has been a childhood dream. I am a trained Public Speaker by Les Brown and have done a documentary in the past with Dr. Kwame Dawes The Project: It is an award-winning multimedia initiative and audio documentary produced in collaboration with the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. It explores the lives and essential humanity of individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Jamaica. • Kwame Dawes' Role: The project is anchored by the poetry of Kwame Dawes, capturing his reporting and deep emotional engagement with the subjects. • Victoria Melhado's Feature: Victoria Melhado (now Melhado-Daley), a prominent Jamaican nurse, midwife, and youth advocate, is a featured "Vital Voice" in the documentary. At the time, she served as a facilitator for an HIV/AIDS support group. • Accolades: The project won major critical acclaim, earning a Poople's Voice Webby Award (2009), an Emmy Award for New Approaches to News & Documentary Programming (2009), and a Gracie Award for Outstanding Documentary (2010). I look forward to working with you and your team soon.
