Originally from a small town in the NW. The kind of town that continually traps generation after generation to the same mundane small town mentality. Desperate to break that cycle in my own lineage, I decided to leave no stone in life unturned. I’ve lived all over the country while chasing a series of different passions, and somewhere along the way, I learned that a good story is usually built by saying yes to the things that scare you. In my 20s, I traveled the country as a singer/songwriter, performing for crowds in places I never imagined I’d see. Since then, I’ve built a real estate career from scratch, become a PGA professional, and worked just about every job you’d expect from a small-town kid figuring life out along the way. I’ve had an unconventional path, and I think that’s become one of my greatest assets as a performer. I’m gregarious, animated, naturally comfortable in the spotlight, and—most importantly—I’m comfortable being myself. I’ve spent my life around all kinds of people, in all kinds of environments, and I’ve learned how to read a room, connect quickly, and leave an impression. I’m also not interested in pretending I have the acting experience most directors are looking for. I honestly don’t. I’m a novice in the professional acting world, but I’m not new to performing, taking direction, working a room, or putting everything I have into something once I decide to pursue it. The most compelling characters are the ones that feel human. The weirdness, confidence, flaws, humor, intensity, vulnerability—all of it. That’s what I bring with me. Maybe my background makes me an unconventional choice for a role. Good. I’ve built an interesting life by being an unconventional choice. Give me the opportunity, and I’ll give you something worth watching.
