Jes Martinez

My deep empathy for others and attunement to my own emotions are some of my greatest assets in acting because they allow me to easily drop into what each character is feeling and why. I come from a competitive sports background, which brings a rigorous work ethic into my work. This background has left me with a toned or slim-muscular physique and allows me to access an authentic emotional intensity when a role asks for it. I have acted on the stage from a young age, including in musicals, minored in acting in college, have had steady background work in LA through Central Casting, and am looking to book more on-screen roles. Artistic storytelling is such a powerful and transformative gift, and I am always excited to collaborate and dive into all of the layers in every character and story to give the best version of that gift to the world.
