Jim Hanvelt

I starting acting when I was 7 years old at the local college summer theater until my parents found out. Needless to say, I was in trouble with my parents and they put an end to my acting career until I reached high school. There I performed in a couple plays. One performing as the main character's brother, and the bad guy in the other. I had many talents growing up such as break dancing, martial arts, roller skating, skateboarding, bmx, billiards, music, singing and song writing. I took acting classes in my mid 20s to get my foot in the door with an agency and did a few auditions. Unfortunately, technology wasn't like it is today and it was difficult to make short notice auditions. I've spent most of my life with music, but always had a deep connection with acting. I got to start somewhere, so here I am.
