I bring a combination of professional experience, real-world perspective, and an unconventional life story to my work. A law school graduate with experience in criminal defense, civil litigation, employment law, and the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office, I am comfortable thinking on my feet, communicating under pressure, and connecting with people from vastly different backgrounds. My path has been anything but traditional. The challenges and reinvention I have experienced throughout my life have given me a perspective that cannot simply be taught in an acting class. I understand complexity, resilience, humor, ambition, consequences, and second chances—and I bring that emotional range and authenticity with me into a role. Professionally, my legal work has required me to analyze people and situations quickly, advocate persuasively, conduct courtroom argument, work with clients during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, and communicate complicated ideas in a natural and compelling way. I would bring maturity, confidence, intelligence, humor, and genuine life experience to a production. I would be particularly drawn to roles that call for a strong personality, sharp dialogue, emotional complexity, or an authoritative professional presence, while also being excited to stretch beyond the world people might naturally expect me to inhabit.
