Josh VanLaningham

My name is Josh VanLaningham. I currently work as an EMT, on an ambulance, or in the ER. I am an avid outdoorsman and adventurer. With my gopro in hand I tend to be the star in my own show. I am confident and out going, willing to push past my own comforts. My early days were spent singing and dancing, within a variety of drama clubs. And I knew early on, that being in front of an audience; seemed captivating. My first audition was for the movie Phenomenon, with John Travolta. I was almost cast as an extra, in two different scenes. Unlike most people, I have spent hours studying film. Practicing facial expressions and trying out new ideas. Like many people Ive always dreamed of being in film. From "Gone with the wind", to the movie "BraveHeart", a great film creates endless dreams. One of my most favorite films is "La La Land". Yet I still go back to " Dances with Wolves". There are so many great actors with stories that take you away. And to be a part of something so big would truly be a blessing.
