My family was one of the first to settle in eastern Nebraska, right next to the Omaha reservation, one grandpa fought in WWII just after migrating from Switzerland to farm. The other fought in Korea and was an Irish Carpenter. My parents moved to Town in the 60s, I grew up on the edge of town, hunting, fishing and fighting in Northeast Nebraska on the Missouri River in around two reservations. I’ve worked Construction, traveling union crane operator, now railroader. You can say I get around and been around a little. I haven’t done it all but I SEENT it all. Had 3 wives Sauk n fox, Northern Cheyenne, and Lakota. I’m Irish catholic. I owned a tax business with my dad where we meet and got to know people from all walks of life, rich and poor. I’ve had run ins with the ATF, FBI, IRS, FRA, union elections, worked in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa , Nebraska, Minnesota, Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota. Wind turbines, pipelines, power houses, crane equipment, met a lot of interesting people from all over. Even fish with an Eskimo from Kozebue Alaska. I can remember everyone of their life stories and where I come onto them at. Had many people over the years say I should write a book about all my life and death experiences through all my travels. Currently working ON the Union Pacific Railroad, where I’ve met even more people form up north, down south, the coast. You could say I get around a little.
