Karen Orton

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 70’s in the era of sex, drugs and rock and roll, last of the baby boomers. I grew up hitch hiking all over, from San Francisco to South Bay and over the hills to Santa Cruz. Mostly, I lived in the Valley or the land of fruits and nuts, now it’s known for a different type of fruits, nuts and a few flakes, aka the Silicon Valley! Intel brought me to Arizona via Oregon. I was married until my X was abducted by aliens, I have two kids and I put them through college on my owe dime. I’m a retired Interior Designer (I loved spending other ppl’s money), now just a mother and grandma. I acted in various skits, plays and musicals during middle & high school in classes and clubs like choir, drama and performing arts. I haven’t been on a stage in years, I love the arts but only from an audience. I love music, vintage and old school things. Antiques, garage sales and thrift stores are my jam. I’ve worked in high tech, hospitality and interior design, now I’m looking for my next adventure!
