I’m trying something new. I spent 24 years in the Air Force in various photographic/intel rolls. I taught photography and film processing for about three and a half years and left that role as a Master Instructor. Retired honorably in 1996. I sold steaks part time for about eight years (left as member of Omaha Seaks’ Million Dollar Club). I worked at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo for about 9 seasons, first five years giving tours of the zoo, then moved to what eventually became the Interactive Animals program, where I was in charge of daily operations at the Stingray exhibit for the first two years of its operation. I most recently worked less formally in a local gift shop owned by friends. Looking for new and interesting challenges. I can’t say that I have acting experience, but I was a background player in the film “Lovely, Still” when it was filmed in Omaha, in which I appeared as the photographer almost invisibly distant nex to the Giant Union Station Christmas tree. As a collector and historian, I have knowledge of filmmaking equipment (though mainly antique and vintage equipment) so I have been in a way on the sidelines. It is an industry I would like to be mired in directly a part of.
