Hola, my name is Myhosi but my friends call me Josie. I was born in the Dominican Republic but my mother gave me a Japanese name. I identify as black Hispanic and I am fluent in English. I am a licensed mental health therapist and my specialty is trauma. For the past four years I have been working with men in residential programs and at a maximum facility jail in downtown Fort Lauderdale. I have worked in the criminal justice system for the past four years. I study theater as a child and participated in a few church plays as extra. I do act daily at my job. I am very intentional with how I present myself in and out of work. Because my work is so traumatic and it evokes tons of emotions I have tried the art of acting. I have lived I South Florida all my life and have three daughters, an ex-husband I adore, and a Frenchie who think he is my husband. I would like to say that I am funny but I’ll let you be the judge of that as I am often wrong. 😑
