Sarah Schick

I’ve worked in the service industry for almost 15 years, so I’ve spent a pretty big chunk of my life talking to strangers and learning how to read people. I can walk into almost any environment and figure out the energy of the room pretty quickly. I’m also really good at adapting to the people around me. Not necessarily changing who I am, but knowing what version of myself fits the moment, if that makes sense. I’ve also somehow been a million different versions of a person throughout my life. I was a cheerleader, on a step team, a high-achieving student, a sorority girl, a tomboy and a chemistry nerd. I love hardcore music just as much as I love Euro pop (Tove Lo and Robyn especially). I’m obsessed with astronomy, currently play chess, and will happily learn about basically anything if it catches my attention. I’m a bartender, creative, science nerd and a huge yapper. I studied biochemistry and was obsessed with organic chemistry, but I’ve also spent years creating cocktails, designing things, putting together events and working in chaotic bars where you learn pretty quickly how to think on your feet. I’m very expressive. I talk with my hands, make weird faces without realizing it and I’m not someone who gets embarrassed very easily. I love making people laugh and will absolutely commit to a bit for longer than I probably should. I’m also curious about literally everything. One question usually turns into twelve and suddenly I’ve spent three hours researching something I had absolutely no reason to know that much about. An ongoing joke among people who know me is, “Season 7, Episode 36 of Sarah Would.” Basically, somehow anything I do becomes another episode or an entirely new season. Yes, I’m funny, completely unfiltered and usually don’t even realize I’m being funny until everyone else starts laughing. THAT. Might be the most accurate description of me. There’s definitely a backstory you missed, and too many side plots happening all at once, but give it a sec & I promise you’ll catch up.
