Tara Lynn Glass

I have been a teacher for 30 years in a small town in northeastern Oklahoma, where I’ve learned how to command a room, connect with an audience, and bring energy and presence into every space I enter. Teaching has taught me the art of performance — showing strength, warmth, and confidence even on difficult days. I am also a proud member of the Cherokee Nation, and my heritage plays a central role in who I am. I come from a family of artists; both my father and brother are master artists for the Cherokee Nation. Creativity, storytelling, and cultural tradition run deep in my family and continue to inspire me in every aspect of my life.
