About
I am a professional Santa Claus, known as, Scuba Santa. It began in 1992 when I was a ski instructor at seven Springs Mountain resort. I have performed on vintage trains, leading motorcycle rides and working with the US Marines on Toys For Tots. I own about one dozen Santa suits. Half a dozen leather boots, I create custom leather belts and suspenders for Santa Claus,. I’m 6‘3“ tall 290 pounds. I swim competitively playing Underwater Hockey. I created and performed training videos for Alpine engineer products an Itw company I’m still one of the voices of their Training videos after creating content for 22 years. I own and enjoy vintage cars, motorcycles, kayaks, and bicycles. I own a custom shuttle bus for performing as Santa Claus, and doing Veterans events. Last year, I built a sleigh for Photo shoots. My beard is naturally near white color. I no longer bleach my hair for Santa Claus,. I wear a 52 long suit, size 14 shoes. 3 XL gloves. Three years ago, my cousin and I purchased a house on San Carlos Island in Fort Myers Beach. It was stripped to the studs. I drew the plans and we rebuilt the house from studs. This included the carpentry, electrical and plumbing. Almost 40 years of teaching, Engineering and Design of trusses and wall panels. I Built post Beam homes. Aircraft mechanic in the Air Force. Building Inspector on nuclear power plant. Guardian on Honor Flights. Adaptive dive Buddy for Veterans with disabilities and amputees. I design, create and donate custom fins for amputees. I learned how to do the waltz in flags over Portsmouth in 1981. I enjoy ballroom dancing, although I could use more lessons. I do several character, voices and PA announcements without a microphone. Most of my one hour, Engineering webinars were done without a script, just a bullet list and product knowledge. I sing as a tenor or base.
