About
Born in the United States and raised in England, I developed a passion for acting from a very young age. My brother and I would create our own plays, write the scripts, and perform them for friends and family. I was naturally drawn to dramatic characters, often playing authoritative women, dramatic queens, and quirky characters that made my family laugh. I earned a BA (Hons) Degree in Music from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in 2005, and have since built experience across television, musical theatre, and music videos. My television work includes appearing as an extra and co-star in three episodes of the UK television series Emmerdale for ITV. My theatre credits include playing Dorothy in The Wiz and a lead role in Mother Goose. I have also appeared as a lead actor, co-star, singer, dancer, and piano player in music videos for artists including These New Puritans and Leon Jackson, as well as performing and acting in my own music videos under the artist name RIDER. My recent training includes several intensive Method Acting programs with Brian Timoney in London, including The Lockdown Acting Intensive, The Transcending Actor Intensive, and Essential Method Acting Skills Boot Camp. Having been raised in England and now living in South Georgia, I have a natural British accent and General American accent. I am comfortable playing serious, emotionally driven and naturalistic characters, as well as lighthearted, adventurous and quirky roles. My English upbringing makes me particularly suited to period dramas, while my adventurous and slightly tomboyish personality lends itself naturally to the energetic, unconventional girl-next-door. I approach every role with enthusiasm, professionalism and complete commitment, and I am always ready to give 100% to the character and story.
