Walter Perez ( Tango dancer , choreographer, actor) was born in Buenos Aires where he studied Psicologia Social and first began dancing Tango. Based in New York since 2000, he has performed and taught Tango extensively worldwide. His film, TV and radio credits include: “Isn’t It Romantic” (2018); “Anniversary” (2018); Nueva York, CUNY TV (2018); “El montaje”, (2021); New Yorker of the Week, NY1 TV (2021); WNYC (Community Champions. (2025), Tu Recuerdo , Maluma Vídeo (2026) Choreography includes: Lincoln Center Midsummer Swing Festival (2018); Tango Diaries workshop (2019); Argentine Embassy (2022); Warle ( NYC 2023/ VT 2024). For his musical "Male Tango" (2018) he was awarded Outstanding Performance in Musical Theater (HOLA) and nominated Best Director (ACE). He last theatre performance actor/ dancer was Tango Diaries (2025)
