William "Bill" Spears

My name is William “Bill” Spears, and I reside along the Central Coast of California. I travel from the San Francisco Bay area to the Coast and down to Los Angeles and back. I am in my early 50’s and have a high work ethic and loyalty to the group of people I work with on any project. I took drama classes and became a thespian in High School and College. I was selected to be the lead in a few local performances during that time. Rather than pursue a career in performing arts, I got into dual careers in the military and law enforcement. I have been a peace officer for over 30 years now and have worked for several types of agencies; small, medium, metropolitan, transit, and county. I worked numerous assignments and have experience on patrol, training, investigations, IA, SWAT, motors, anti-terrorism, honor guards, and youth mentoring. I have held ranks from an officer, senior officer, sergeant, lieutenant, and commander. I have street supervision and command level experience. I have worked several types of cases and critical incidents. For the military, I retired after 21 years in the US Army and National Guard. I deployed to Iraq twice and received several awards, to include the Purple Heart Medal. I was assigned to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina ripped it apart. I have several missions on training and real-world operations. My duties were as a tanker on the Abrams Tank and an Infantryman. I rose through the ranks up to a Sergeant First Class, and acting First Sergeant and Platoon Leader. I have experience with drill and ceremony and military coaching and instructing. I have experience as a cop, soldier, father, husband, brother, battle buddy, professional, instructor, leader, dare devil, and love interest. My experience is from my adventure in life and not simply rehearsed on a private stage. When I was in theater, I sang in musicals and have a few different accents that I use to entertain those around me. My personality is authentic and I am not afraid of hard work. I work to compromise and get along with whichever team I am on. Although I may not have an immediate appeal to be in front of the camera, I do offer several skills and experiences as a contractor and consultant to guarantee authenticity for law enforcement, military, conflict, and other life realities. Once you get me involved with a project, you won’t regret it.
