A major theme park is casting a female performer for the featured role of Shrek Grandma in a commercial filming in the Orlando, Florida area.
They are looking for a bold, big-character matriarch with high energy, a wicked laugh, and a larger-than-life personality that makes her a hero to her grandkids. Talent of all ethnicities are encouraged to apply.
You will portray a high-energy, larger-than-life grandmother, bringing strong matriarch energy, personality, and comedic character to the role. You'll deliver a memorable wicked laugh and expressive on-camera performance, creating a believable dynamic as a grandmother viewed as a hero by her grandkids.
Requirements: - Female talent, ages 55–65 - Open to all ethnicities - Big, distinctive character presence - Strong energy, confidence, and natural comedic personality - Able to portray a charismatic family matriarch - A memorable or expressive laugh is strongly suited to the role - Must have no conflicting theme park commercial commitments - Non-union performers are eligible - Must be able to work as a local hire in Orlando, Florida
Key Dates: - Zoom callback: October 9 or October 13, 2026 (if selected) - Fitting: October 22 or October 23, 2026 - Filming: October 28, October 29, and October 30, 2026 (all three dates required)
Compensation: - $600 session fee per work day, plus 20% agency fee - $10,000 buyout, plus 20% agency fee, if the performer appears in the final cut - Potential total compensation of $10,600+ based on session work and final-cut buyout - Worldwide, all-media usage for two years
