Although I lived in the Hill Country, I frequently visited my family’s ranch in West Texas on the Concho River to help out. After graduating from Texas State University with a degree in Resource and Environmental Studies, I worked in construction, heavy equipment oporation, and even ran my own countertop repair/modification business before pivoting into the environmental sector.I also developed a passion for adventure sports—competing in Spartan races, running long distances, and training in the gym daily. Today, I serve as a water operator for the city.
