Smoky Mountain Pictures LLC is casting the role of Ryan for the independent feature film 'Almost Trying,' filming in Sevier County, Tennessee.
Ryan is Juniper's frustrated boyfriend. He's increasingly convinced that something about their relationship is beyond his control. He is blunt, anxious, and genuinely in love with the woman he simultaneously believes may be manipulating him.
You'll portray Ryan in a grounded character comedy, balancing anxiety, frustration, and genuine affection throughout. You'll need to build believable on-screen chemistry with the actress playing Juniper, and collaborate professionally with the full cast and crew.
This role is open to male talent from the mid-20s to mid-40s. Strong comedic and character acting abilities are required. You must be able to balance humor with genuine emotional investment, be comfortable with strong language and adult humor, and be available to work in Sevier County, Tennessee.
