Common complaints, answered

Not every review is glowing. Here are the concerns we hear most, and what's actually going on.

“I joined and didn't get booked.”
Membership gets you matched and submitted; the production decides who books. Results depend on your location, look and how many roles are casting near you. Members with a complete profile and a recent photo get noticeably more callbacks.
“I was charged after I signed up.”
Memberships renew automatically on the plan you choose, and the renewal price and date are shown at checkout and in your account. You can cancel any time in settings, and you'll keep access until the paid period ends.
“Is it a scam?”
No. We're a registered company with a real address and support team. Every production is reviewed before it can post, and no one on Casting Companion can charge you to audition.
“The roles weren't in my area.”
Some calls accept remote or self-tape submissions, and smaller markets simply have fewer productions. Your matches update daily, and you can set how far you're willing to travel.
