Cupid, a psychological thriller feature film directed by Tate Taylor and starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, is casting background performers and stand-ins in Natchez, Mississippi. Filming runs October 21 through November 23, 2026.
Several tiers of background work are available:
General background: Open to all ages, no experience required. One filming day per booking within the October 21–November 23 window. Pays $150 for 12 hours.
Featured background – Sharon's family and friends: Shoots Tuesday, October 27. Women 18 and older, especially those who can portray their 40s and up. Photo-selected by the director. Pays $150 for 12 hours. Performers who previously submitted a general application may simply reply to be considered.
Featured background – Wedding party: Shoots Friday, October 30. Seeking parents, grandparents, bridesmaids, and groomsmen in their 20s and 30s, matched to a bride described as a Caucasian brunette in her 20s and a groom of Caucasian and Filipino heritage. Photo-selected by the director. Pays $150 for 12 hours.
Stand-ins for Doris, Nick, and Anna: Run-of-show commitment through November 23. Physical matches required — Doris: 5'7"–5'9", brunette; Nick: 5'7"–5'9", brown hair; Anna: 5'6"–5'8", brunette. Pays $175 for 12 hours.
Minor background: Open to performers under 18. Eight-hour day. Pays $100 for 8 hours. A parent or guardian must submit on the minor's behalf; submissions sent by the minor directly do not meet the requirement.

The submission deadline listed by the Mississippi Film Office is November 13, but featured scenes shoot October 27 and October 30 — those applications need to be in this week.
