Casting TaylorMade is looking for background and specialty talent of all types for the upcoming Miami Vice movie, a 1980s period piece filming in Miami during winter 2026–2027.
They're seeking real locals with big personalities and unique looks, including people with 1980s hairstyles and mustaches, classic and exotic vehicle owners, musicians, dancers, models, athletes, first responders, hospitality professionals, and members of Miami's Cuban and Little Havana community.
You'll work as background or specialty talent on set. Filming takes place during select weeks in December, January, and February, with filming days typically running about 12 hours. You'll also be expected to attend a costume fitting at the end of October or beginning of November.
No previous set experience is required — all roles and types are welcome. Men are encouraged to stop cutting their hair and let their hair, mustaches, and sideburns grow naturally for the 1980s period look. Owners of vehicles from roughly 1960–1989 are especially encouraged to apply. You must be comfortable wearing period wardrobe and bathing suits.
Compensation is $212 for a 12-hour filming day. Costume fittings pay $50 for 3 hours. If you bring a vintage vehicle, you'll receive an additional bump of $250 for 1960–1967 vehicles or $200 for 1968–1989 vehicles.
