Bowe Casting is looking for background performers for the ensemble romantic comedy feature film "Sorry About My Friends," filming in Savannah, Georgia from November 9th to December 9th.
No experience is necessary. Roles include restaurant patrons, servers, bartenders, bar patrons, party guests, and wedding party members. Additional specialty roles are available for those with specific filming approaches.
You'll appear as a background performer in scenes for the film, playing roles such as a restaurant patron, server, bartender, bar patron, party guest, or wedding party member. You'll follow direction from the production team and keep the entire filming day free — call times are sent the evening before and shoot days can run 12 hours or more.
If required for your assigned role, you'll attend a costume fitting. Keep your submission photos, sizes, and vehicle information current in the casting profile. Show up on time with proper documents and wardrobe, and conduct yourself professionally at all times. Check the casting portal frequently, as new roles will be posted throughout the shoot.
Requirements: You must be based in Savannah, Georgia, or willing to work as a local — no travel or lodging is provided. You must be available for filming between November 9th and December 9th, with dates specific to each role. You need to be able to keep the entire assigned day free with reliable transportation. You must have current photos in your profile that reflect how you currently look, including a recent photo holding something with the current date. Reliable childcare or pet care must be arranged so you are fully free of conflicts. You must create a free profile and apply through the casting portal, selecting the roles and dates available. You must be able to accept and agree to a booking notification if selected.
Compensation: $150 per 12 hours for regular background roles. Increased rates are available for specialty roles.
