The upcoming feature film "Hot Smirk" is casting real couples to portray LGBTQ+ bar patrons in an intimate bar scene filming in Manhattan, New York.
Production is seeking adult couples who are comfortable sharing natural, authentic kissing and romantic interactions on camera. All backgrounds and identities are encouraged to participate.
As a background actor on this shoot, you will portray LGBTQ+ bar patrons, perform natural kissing and romantic interactions with your real-life partner on camera, and participate in kissing or makeout scenes according to agreed-upon boundaries and production direction. You will follow instructions from the director and production team to maintain authenticity and continuity.
Requirements: - Must be 18 years of age or older - Seeking real couples comfortable kissing on camera - Must be local to the New York tri-state area - Comfortable portraying LGBTQ+ bar patrons in a feature film setting - Ability to perform natural romantic interactions with a partner - Must be available for the tentative filming date of October 15, 2026
Compensation is SAG-AFTRA scale at $231 for 8 hours, with an additional $50 kissing bump and an additional $100 makeout bump.
