An upcoming major independent film is looking for skilled modern and contemporary dancers with strong technical backgrounds to perform in a production shooting in Los Angeles, California.
This is a paid opportunity to collaborate with a prominent contemporary artist and director on a creative cinematic project. Selected dancers will showcase their technical abilities, expressive movement, and artistic versatility on screen.
You'll be expected to perform modern and contemporary dance movements, demonstrate strong technique and expressive movement, execute choreography and movement sequences according to creative direction, and adapt your performance to suit the film's artistic vision. You'll also maintain precision, control, and consistency throughout filming and work professionally with fellow dancers and the production crew.
Producers are seeking experienced modern and contemporary dancers with a strong technical background in modern or contemporary dance. You should have excellent body control, flexibility, coordination, and movement precision, and be comfortable working in a professional film production environment. You must be able to follow choreography and artistic direction.
You must be based in or able to work in Los Angeles, California, and available for the scheduled filming dates. Previous professional dance or performance experience is preferred.
Compensation is $475–$500 depending on the role.
