Casting TaylorMade is looking for 500 background performers for a NASCAR Daytona 500 commercial filming on a beach in the Daytona Beach area on Monday, November 9.
The commercial brings a wave of fans, race crews, cars, and personalities — led by today's NASCAR drivers — sweeping Daytona from the sand to the Speedway in one big live moment. The crowd is the heart of that stampede. The day runs around 6 hours at midday, so keep the whole day open. This is an active day, not a beach lounge.
What you'll be doing: You'll appear as one of 500 background performers in the commercial. You'll be part of a crowd sweeping from the beach toward the Speedway, jogging or running on sand for up to a minute per take across multiple takes, and holding and carrying props while moving — from small handheld items up to large flags.
What to wear: A plain t-shirt in a NASCAR color (red, blue, or yellow) — no logos, brand names, graphics, or text — and sneakers you can run in. Casual beach-day or workout and athleisure looks you can move in. No bathing suits.
Requirements: You must be 13 or older. All genders and ethnicities are welcome. No one under 13 will be accepted. Minors aged 13 to 17 must have a parent or guardian on set. You must be able to jog or run on sand for up to a minute per take across multiple takes. This is a local hire only — no travel or lodging is provided. You'll need to bring your own food and water, as no meals or snacks are provided. You must be available on Monday, November 9 and keep the whole day open.
Pay: $100 per person, processed through production payroll after the shoot.
