Care.com is casting real people — parents, adult children, and families — for an upcoming commercial. They're looking for individuals who have personally used Care.com to find child care, arrange care for an aging parent or loved one, or manage multiple caregiving responsibilities.
Selected participants will share their personal experiences in an on-camera interview, highlighting the challenges and realities of finding care for their families. The casting is open nationwide, with particular interest in participants from New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Dallas-Fort Worth.
Responsibilities include participating in an on-camera interview sharing your personal experiences with Care.com, discussing your experiences finding child care, senior care, or managing multiple caregiving responsibilities, and sharing authentic stories about balancing family needs and caregiving commitments. You'll participate in a one-day commercial shoot during the week of November 9. Filming may take place from home or remotely, depending on production arrangements. Family members, including children, may participate in filming alongside the primary interviewee.
Requirements: - Must have personal experience using Care.com to find care for a child, aging parent, or loved one - Families managing multiple caregiving responsibilities, including children, parents, pets, or household needs, are encouraged to participate - Parents, including fathers, and adult children with relevant caregiving experiences are welcome - Must be comfortable sharing personal experiences in an on-camera interview - Must be based in the United States - Applicants from New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Dallas-Fort Worth are especially encouraged - Must be available for one day of filming during the week of November 9 - Family members of all ages, including children, may participate
Compensation is $2,000 for the primary participant selected for an on-camera interview, and $750 per additional family member filmed, including children.
