Smoky Mountain Pictures LLC is casting the role of Juniper for the independent feature film "Almost Trying," filming in Sevier County, Tennessee.
Juniper is a quiet, intelligent, and strangely commanding woman whose boyfriend believes he can somehow control her. Whether she actually can be controlled is intentionally unclear — stillness and subtle authority matter more here than playing the character as mysterious.
You'll portray Juniper with quiet confidence and subtle authority, deliver a restrained and intelligent character performance, build believable chemistry with the actor portraying Ryan, and follow creative direction throughout filming.
Producers are seeking female talent from the mid-20s to mid-40s with strong subtle acting skills and a commanding screen presence. You must be comfortable with strong language and adult humor, and able to work in Sevier County, Tennessee.
This is a paid role. Rate varies by role.
