Hire voiceover artists in Maine

I’m Andy Rounds, a Maine-based performer by way of California with a highly unique background. Before recently retiring from law enforcement, I spent years working in broadcast media as a news anchor and photojournalist, mastering live television and on-camera storytelling. I've paired that professional poise with stand-up comedy experience, allowing me to easily pivot between commanding authority figures and sharp, fast-talking comedic characters.

My acting experience has all been on stage in local theater groups. I've also sung and danced. My face looks like a friendly grandma type or a matriarch. My skin has few wrinkles so if you pop a wig on me, I can play much younger middle-aged roles.

I once hid in the bathroom when company came over, a painfully shy little girl. I decided not long after that if I wanted to get anywhere in life I’d have to get over the shyness. I joined every talent show and school play. I now am very outgoing, to the embarrassment of my siblings. Single, no kids, ready to go anywhere to do anything. No phobias. First to volunteer to put an insect or arachnid outside, stick my hand in poop to retrieve something, stop traffic to save a baby squirrel (that all happened). Best features are my eyes and smile.

I’m funny cool and trying to make a difference in my life. Thank you for reaching my profile.

Introducing myself as a young 27 year old New Englander, with a passion and skill for public speaking and speaking front of an audience.

I have not been in a theatrical production since my college years. I was active in drama, chorus and musical theater during high school. I had the experience of being assistant director for our college production of Pal Joey, which included a local newscaster and some community theater actors. Since then I have been a registered nurse for 40 years, more than 20 of them at the bedside. I have been adjunct clinical faculty and a nursing education specialist. I also raised 2 girls, was married to a professional musician for 10 years and occasionally performed with him. Recently I was asked to participate on a focus group about Maine politics. It was aired on YouTube.

I have always had a pull toward acting/modeling. Fashion and the expression through clothing has always been something I love and have gravitated towards. Watching actors growing up, I always had a fascination with how they built this character and almost become a whole new person. This has inspired me to not only watch and learn from the TV but strive to get into acting myself.
