Clorox is casting real allergy sufferers in Illinois for a non-union, non-actor social media campaign produced by Method + Madness and Julian Muller.
They are looking for men and women ages 15 to 65 who genuinely suffer from allergies to dust, dander, or pollen — and whose allergies affect their daily lives. They want relatable, colorful personalities who can show how they manage their allergies and how the product could help them live better. Casting is open to adult singles living alone, adult partners with or without children, and adults with pets, with a limit of four people per household.
Selected participants will first take part in a two-week at-home product trial from November 6 to November 17, 2026, recording daily footage using the shipped product and joining check-in chats with production along the way. Those selected to film further will be filmed for one day in their own home between November 7 and November 17, 2026, scheduled around their availability.
To audition, submit a short video tape answering questions about your allergies and daily life, and introduce your household members and pets.
Requirements: Illinois and Chicagoland-area talent only. No professional actors or entertainers. No bird owners, as one product used is an aerosol. Minors must be filmed with family present; limit of four people per household.
Compensation: $2,000 for the two-week product trial, if selected. $500 for the one-day in-home film shoot, if selected. The audition is free and unpaid. Usage is in perpetuity across all media.
