Membership and billing

How membership works, what's included, and how billing is handled.

An active membership is what keeps your profile in the matching pool. Without it, your profile is still visible but won't be auto-matched to new casting calls and you can't submit to opportunities directly.

What membership includes

  • Active matching. Your profile is included every time the matching system runs.
  • Submission to opportunities. When you find a casting call you want, you can submit directly via /calls.
  • Profile views. Casting directors can view your full profile, photo, and bio.
  • Connection access. When a director sends you an introduction request, you can accept and exchange contact information.

Plans

Casting Companion offers monthly and annual memberships, with optional Pro upgrades that include additional boosts. See your billing page for the most current plans and prices.

How payment works

  • Payments are processed by Stripe — we don't store your card details.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew on the same day each billing cycle.
  • You can update your payment method or view invoices anytime from your billing page.

Failed payments

If a payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), Stripe automatically retries. If retries don't succeed within a few days, your membership pauses — your profile stays in the system but matching pauses until billing is resolved. You'll get email notifications when this happens with a link to update your payment method.

Refunds

We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, but you can cancel at any time and your membership stays active through the end of your current cycle. See canceling your membership for the full process.
